ST JOSEPH’S SEVENTH SORROW AND JOY

IMG_2882An example to us, O Glorious St. Joseph, when through no fault of your own you did lose Jesus, the Holy Child, you sought him with great sorrow for three days, until with unspeakable joy, you did find Him, Who was your Life, amidst the doctors in the Temple.

By this your sorrow and your joy, we beg you with our whole heart to intercede on our behalf so that we may never lose Jesus by mortal sin, but if we are at any time so wretched as to lose Him, we will seek Him with unwearied sorrow until we find Him, particularly at the hour of our death, so that we may pass from this life to enjoy Him forever in Heaven, there to sing with you His divine mercies without end. Amen
